Ella Langley Dominates 2026 CMA Awards Nominations as Lainey Wilson Returns to Host The nominees are in for the 60th Annual CMA Awards, and Ella Langley is officially playing in country music’s biggest league. Langley earned her first Entertainer of the Year nomination alongside Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and returning CMA Awards host Lainey Wilson. Two songwriters walk into a co-write session. Three hours later they walk out with a song neither of them expected to be any good, and it ends up being the best thing either of them has written that year. Nobody talks about percentages. Why would they? They’re friends, they’re excited, and doing the math on a song that might go nowhere feels like the least Nashville thing you could do in that room.  Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel and Life of Many Colors Museum will open together in downtown Nashville on September 29, carrying forward two major projects she personally shaped before her death.  Parton’s team recently listed both destinations among the works that carried her approval. That makes the opening more than another ribbon cutting in Music City. It will give fans one of their first new opportunities to step inside a story Dolly intended to tell in her own voice. Nashville’s music community is rallying around longtime publishing executive Marc Driskill and his wife, Peggy, after a catastrophic accident severed his left hand at the wrist.  Driskill underwent approximately 10 hours of emergency surgery as a 12-person medical team reconstructed and reattached the hand. Early signs have been encouraging, with doctors detecting blood flow after the procedure. |
